November Blog Challenge Day 4: Write a letter to another country where there is no Thanksgiving. Try to convince them that they should institute the holiday.

Day 4: Write a letter to another country where there is no Thanksgiving. Try to convince them that they should institute the holiday.

Dear Country to Whom it may Concern;

I know you look at my Country possibly as a land of lunatics; and you might be right most for the time, but I'm writing you to tell you about a Holiday we celebrate on the last Thursday of every November. We call this Holiday "Thanksgiving".

It's a time to be thankful for what you've been given, your family, friends and anything else you have. It is a time of togetherness and to give thanks to whom ever you believe in for what is good,just, and that you're alive. Its a time of year that; for most American's, you gather with friends and family and enjoy being together and eating a meal together. Some even go around in a group of people and tell what they're most Thankful for right now in their life.

It might not be much of a convincing story but try it for a year or too and see how your people like our holiday. If there could be a day of Thanksgiving world wide that is something I would be thankful for that even if for one day there was no fighting between any country, or religion, or even between families.

Enjoy!!
Katie
