Writing a little story

So this will probably be something I work on today until I go home from one of my jobs. I'm going to write using this prompt "I was lost in the woods".

So I was lost in the woods, I hadn't planned on leaving the trail. It happens to the best of us I guess, I was going to take a picture of something I had just seen. I've believed in a lot of things in my life, never did I imagine that I would see what I believe I just witnessed! I had seen a turkey the size of a man!

I was just so stunned at the size and speed of the turkey I had seen that I have no proof of it. Granted I saw it in my camera, but just didn't snap a picture. I think you assume that if something unbelievable happens you would take a picture as proof, but people don't realize how must it shocks you to come across something unusual.

All I could think of was getting back out of the woods; which, is when I ran into other hikers and walkers. They didn't believe me but gave me directions to get back down the trail. I'm sitting at the base of the trail now, texting this.
