Day 29: Why is Thanksgiving important to American culture?
I think Thanksgiving is important to American culture; because, it gives us a chance to remember its not about what you want but about what you have.
I think many are too preoccupied with things they want and trying to keep up with the proverbial "Joneses" that they forget what's important in live and take what they have for granted;until, they loose it.
In a time where people are struggling to pay for what they have, jobs are laying off so people can't find work, people have trouble buying the basic necessities.
