Day 17: Write an instruction manual on how to bake a pumpkin pie.

I've never made a pumpkin pie, always bought them. So I've found what's suppose to be a easy recipe I would like to try if I do I'll let you know how it turns out.

Makes 1 9 in Pumpkin Pie

Serves 8

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 50 minutes
Ready in: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  1. 2 Eggs
  2. 1 16 oz can of pumpkin puree
  3. 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  4. 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  5. 1 9 in unbaked pie crust

  • Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 C).
  2. Combine eggs, pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, and pumpkin pie spice in a large bowl and  mix until combined.
  3. Fit pie crust into a 9 inch pie dish; pour pumpkin mixture into the crust.
  4. Place pie on a baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce hear to 350 degrees F (175 C) and bake until filling is set, 35 to 40 minutes.
